Music Teacher, Woodwind Repair Technician and Freelance Performer

About Me

I graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a BMus (hons) in 2020. I later studied an MA in Arts Management before working for the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in their Participate department, focusing on bringing music to those not necessarily looking for it.

I started repairing instruments after completing a Foundation Woodwind Repair course in 2019. After working on a variety of instruments and gaining some practical experience I have since completed an additional course.

I have over 10 years of experience as a music teacher working with both adults and children. From preparing students for the traditional exam routes to those who learn for more relaxed enjoyment, I believe music can be enjoyed by everyone no matter their goals or inhibitions and I always try to make the journey as fun as possible. My goal is to give my students a life-long appreciation and passion for music, whether that’s playing themselves, watching concerts or listening to the radio with a keener ear.

Since moving to North Dorset, I now enjoy a pick-n-mix career, jumping from teaching, to performing, to repairing woodwind instruments. If you would like to get in touch to arrange lessons or have an instrument in need of some TLC, please visit my contact page.
